Meet Canol Melle
Healing looks different for everyone, and Canol believes therapy should honor each person's unique experiences, strengths, and goals. He is committed to creating a welcoming space where clients feel comfortable showing up authentically, exploring life's challenges, and discovering new ways to move forward.
As a Graduate Clinician at Deeply Rooted MHC, Canol brings more than a decade of experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families through her work as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT). Throughout his career, he has helped individuals build emotional regulation skills, strengthen communication, increase independence, and navigate behavioral and developmental challenges with compassion and patience.
Canol is currently pursuing his master's degree in Mental Health Counseling at Touro College and is passionate about supporting clients across the lifespan. He works with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship challenges, emotional regulation difficulties, self-esteem concerns, and family conflict.
His therapeutic approach is rooted in empathy, collaboration, and authenticity. Drawing from Person-Centered Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), strengths-based interventions, and trauma-informed care, Canol partners with clients to identify practical coping strategies while fostering self-awareness, resilience, and lasting emotional well-being.
Canol believes that meaningful change begins with feeling understood. She strives to build trusting therapeutic relationships where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered to grow at their own pace. Whether working with children, adolescents, adults, couples, or families, she is dedicated to helping clients develop the confidence and tools needed to create lasting, meaningful change.
